Leslie Barrett is a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP specializing in NLP and Machine Learning. Before Bloomberg she was Director of Search Technology at The Ladders Inc, an online resource for executive jobseekers and recruiters. Previously, she was Director of Language Technology at the Financial Times. Leslie holds Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from New York University and has over 20 published papers in the fields of Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval.
